How We’re Different
Spring to Life has helped thousands of men achieve better health, spiritual growth, and deeper connections to the people they love. Our intensive approach to addiction recovery sets us apart and has proven successful for more than a decade.
We break the cycle of revolving-door rehab.
Addiction is a chronic, relapsing disease that requires adequate time to treat. Men often come to us for help after a drug relapse, following release from another treatment facility before they were ready.
Our residential program can last up to four months or beyond – much longer than the typical 28-day rehab – to help clients achieve stability and prevent relapse. We do everything in our power to lay the foundation for lifelong freedom from addiction and to end the need for repeated visits to rehab.
This follows the recommendation for treatment length from the National Institute on Drug Abuse:
“Generally, for residential or outpatient treatment, participation for less than 90 days is of limited effectiveness, and treatment lasting significantly longer is recommended for maintaining positive outcomes.”
– National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)
Clients at Spring to Life advance to the next phase of the program only when they are ready. A detailed, graded evaluation determines when it’s time for each client to move to transitional living or the next step in their personal recovery plan.
We’ve been where you are.
Many of our Life Coaches or Recovery Coaches know the anguish of addiction because they’ve experienced it firsthand. As our President, Pastor Erik Hines, notes in his message: “I lived my life in bondage from addiction for years, never knowing the power that dwelt within.”
We’re passionate about sharing our insights and life experiences to help men overcome all types of addictions. And we’ve had the privilege to guide many remarkable transformations, even for those in the deepest despair.
We help you heal from the inside out.
People in recovery often show greater levels of faith and spirituality than those who relapse, according to research by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. We believe spirituality can be a powerful force in your recovery, and a connection with Christ can help you heal from the inside out.
Our interactive GEARS classes teach clients how to fill their hearts with God to meet basic human needs, instead of turning to alcohol or drugs. GEARS is designed to change self-destructive thinking patterns (“I am worthless,” “No one loves me”) and improve how clients view themselves in relation to the world. By changing the direction of our heart, we can influence our minds and ultimately, the trajectory of our lives.
We’re with you all the way through.
You’ll have the lifelong support and camaraderie of an ever-growing recovery community at Spring to Life. From the moment you reach out for help to the day you graduate our program and beyond, you’re part of our family. Just as Christ never leaves us, we’re here for you at every step of your recovery journey. That includes assistance with job placement and post-treatment strategies to prevent drug and alcohol relapse.
You can bolster the gains you’ve made in the program-or-bolster the gains you’ve made at Spring to Life with the support of our exceptional Alumni program. Led by our founder and president, Pastor Erik Hines, Catapult is a weekly gathering of alumni and people from all walks of life who are interested in learning more about recovery. It’s a welcoming place to find peer support and network with friends who share a similar journey. Alumni are also encouraged to attend group and individual therapy sessions as needed to maintain recovery.
We treat the whole person – body, mind and soul.
You may have personal circumstances, medical conditions, or co-occurring mental health disorders that could impact your recovery. Addiction Campuses of Tennessee provides care that is tailored to your individual needs – physically, mentally, and spiritually.
We respect and honor each client as a child of God, and work closely with you to understand the nature of your addiction and meet your specific needs. Upon intake, we will evaluate the impact that addiction has taken in your life including a history of relapse, to ensure the best course of recovery.
